Sass Appeal
By Catherine Hernandez
Dramatic, come-hither looks mark the change of seasons
It’s spring madness with shake-it-in-your-face short locks that look absolutely fabulous. There are so many choices, it’s hard to know which wild way to go. The playful peek-a-boo cut (Photo 1) is from the Juxtapose Collection by John Paul Mitchell—it incorporates round geometric styling with vibrant veils of colour. Or go pretty in pink with a cut from Svengali Hair Studio. Shorter panels underneath are topped with disconnected lengths to for an airy feel. Different shades are highlighted by a lovely strawberry that gives a fairy-like effect. Bangs and bobs inspired the team at Salon I.D (Photo 3). The cut—a graduated bob—angles towards the front with soft layers to create more movement. Contrasting colours were used to emphasize the drama of the cut. Now you just have to decide what you’re going to try this spring!
